Mumbai: The multi-faceted Prabhu Deva shot his first ad film with cricketer Virat Kohli in Bangkok recently.

“I am excited because a story has to be told within less than a minute. That’s a challenge because I’ve never shot an ad before, and that too with someone as well known as Virat, who is not from cinema,” said Prabhu Deva.
The dancer, choreographer, actor and director did not divulge any more details on the ad, but according to a source, it is for a shoe company.
“It’s got plenty of action, and a little bit of dancing. Virat wanted to be projected as a filmy hero,” said a source.
Prabhu Deva’s last Bollywood directorial “Rowdy Rathore” turned out to be a hit.
