Islamabad, Sep 15 (IANS) Pakistani Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar will pay an official visit to the US Sep 18-22, the foreign ministry said Saturday.
In Washington, Khar will hold bilateral meetings with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, National Security Advisor Tom Donilon and Trade Representative Ambassador Ron Kirk among others, Xinhua reported.
She will also meet several representatives of the US Congress, academics and members of think tanks, a ministry statement said.
Khar will later travel to New York to join a delegation led by President Asif Ali Zardari for the forthcoming UN General Assembly session.
