Jammu, Jan 16 (IANS) Nine people were killed and 13 injured Wednesday when a minibus skidded off the road and rolled into a 100-feet deep gorge in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
The minibus from Bhaderwah was destined for Doda. As it reached Bhalla, about 180 km from here, “the bus rolled into the deep gorge on mountainous road,” a police official said.
“Five passengers died on the spot while four more succumbed on way to hospital,” the official said.
Thirteen passengers were injured and four of them are in critical condition. The driver is among the seriously injured.
