Maoists blast house of arrested rebel in Jharkhand

Ranchi, Dec 15 (IANS) Maoists blasted the under-construction house of an arrested cadre in Jharkhand's Bokaro district Saturday, police said.

Praveen Da's house was at Nawadih in Bokaro district, around 130 km from Ranchi. Police said the house was blasted as as the authorities had displayed banners of the anti-Maoist campaign on it.

Maoists are active in 18 of the 24 districts of the state.
