Los Angeles: Michael Lohan has urged his daughter actress Lindsay to stop communicating with her mother who he thinks is a bad influence on her.
“I really think Lindsay needs to get away for a while. She just needs to get away from everybody,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted Michael as saying.

He believes Lindsay’s assistant Gavin Doyle, who was present when she was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident at Chelsea’s Dream Hotel in New York last week, is a good role model and will help keep her out of trouble.
“Gavin keeps Lindsay straight. He is always there for her. He is one of the most honest and caring people around Lindsay right now. Whenever he talks to me, he is never drunk. Dina can’t stand that he speaks to me, is all.”
Dina said that if Lindsay keeps talking to me and if Gavin keeps talking to me then Dina will not let Lindsay come to the house and see her brothers and sister,” he said.
