Los Angeles: Teen pop sensation Justin Bieber is all set to do a cameo in famous animated show, The Simpsons.
The 18-year-old Boyfriend hitmaker will appear as himself and will be seen trying to enter a talent contest in which Bart, the eldest child and only son of the Simpsons family, is also participating, reported The Rollingstone online.
Bieber shared the news on Twitter.
“Just did a voice over for the The Simpsons! !! Swaggy (sic),” he posted.
Executive producer of the show Al Jean also confirmed the news.
“He tries to get into a talent show that Bart is playing piano in and they won’t admit him. Draw your own conclusions… It’s a cameo, but all of his fans should watch every minute of the show, before and after he’s on,” Jean said.

The episode has been titled The Fabulous Faker Boy and is set to air in 2013 as part of the upcoming 24th season of the The Simpsons, which begins 30 September.
Other musical stars, who recently featured on the show include Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Ted Nugent and David Byrne.
Actors Zooey Deschanel, Edward Norton, Steve Carrell, Anne Hathaway and Natalie Portman are among guests slated for the upcoming season.
