Los Angeles: Actor Johnny Depp is set to feature in the fifth edition of “Pirates Of The Caribbean” and the actor will reportedly earn 60 million pounds from the franchise.

“This huge deal for ‘Pirates…’ means he will be able to pick his other roles very carefully on the strength of their script rather than their salary,” thesun.co.uk quoted a source as saying.
The actor is also being careful about not signing too many films. “Johnny is being very careful… he does not sign on for too many films. He doesn’t want to ruin his career with overexposure,” the source said.
The actor has to financially support his ex-girlfriend Vanessa Paradis and two children with whom got separated in June.
