Beijing, July 20 (IANS) A man was shot dead at a subway station in Beijing Thursday night after he took a security officer hostage.
The man tried to hurt her with a knife, Xinhua quoted authorities as saying. The incident took place at Hujialou station around 9.00 p.m. The hostage was rescued.
