Jabalpur: Madhya Pradesh High Court has stayed the questioning of Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur by National Investigative Agency(NIA) in connection with RSS worker Sunil Joshi’s murder case till 2 May.
The directive was given by the bench of Justice GS Solanki yesterday following a petition filed by Sadhvi Pragya who challenged the designated court’s order directing the NIA to question her again in connection with the Joshi murder
case.
She argued that Madhya Pradesh police had already filed a charge sheet against her in a court at Dewas and thus there was no need for NIA to question her again.
Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur is also an accused in the Malegaon bomb blast case.
The court has granted stay on the issue till May 2 and issued a notice to the Centre in this regard. Joshi was allegedly eliminated by Sadhvi and her associates apprehending that he might create problems for her in the Malegaon bomb blast case.
