Gurgaon, Nov 26 (IANS) Three people, including a woman director of a private building firm, were Monday held guilty by a court here for offering bribe to a vigilance officer, said an official.
Shefali Verma, director of Aar Dee City, along with two accomplices was booked for offering Rs.1.5 lakh bribe to a deputy superintendent of police of Haryana state vigilance branch in 2009.
The quantum of punishment against the convicts would be pronounced Tuesday. Verma was taken into custody after the court verdict, said a police official.
The accused had tried to obtain change of land use on the basis of fake documents of a dead farmer.
