Islamabad, Nov 24 (IANS) At least four people, including two children, were killed and 20 others injured Saturday morning when a blast hit a Muharram procession in northwest Pakistan, media reports said.
Four people were killed and 20 others injured when the blast hit a procession of Shia Muslims to mark the ninth day of Muharram, the first month of the Islamic calendar, in Dera Ismail Khan district, 300 km from here, hospital sources were quoted as saying by Xinhua.
Khalid Baloch, medical superintendent of district hospital, confirmed that four people, including two children, were killed and 20 others injured in the blast.
