Islamabad: Rescue teams have found equipment belonging to Pakistani soldiers at the site of a massive avalanche that buried 138 soldiers and civilians in Siachen in April, the Pakistan Army said Tuesday.

None of the buried men have been found despite search and rescue operations by Pakistani personnel and experts from Germany and Switzerland, Xinhua reported.
“During physical inspection of the area, some equipment was found,” the army said, which has raised hopes of finding the buried soldiers.
The army said efforts are on to clear the area at Gayari sector
President Asif Ali Zardari and army chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani have visited Siachen to look into the situation.
