Dancing Tales | Panchatantra brings alive some of the most well-known tales from Panchatantra. The production show cases the morals, values and humour of the parables of the Panchatantra in a dance theatre format, where through parable and allegory, the production talks about friendship, bravery, quick wittedness, foolishness, leadership and freedom.
Ananda Shankar Jayant spent six years in Kalakshetra, Chennai and trained in Bharatanatyam, Carnatic music, Veena, Nattuvangam, Choreography, Philosophy and other related subjects. Subsequently, she also trained in Kuchipudi with Pasumarthy Ramalinga Sastry and practices both these forms. Through her solo and group works, she has explored both, traditional and contemporary themes.
