New Delhi, Dec 15 (IANS) It was a cloudy, chilly morning in the capital Saturday with the minimum temperature settling at 12.8 degrees Celsius – four notches above average for this time of the season. The Met office has forecast clear day ahead.
“Partly cloudy sky, with shallow mist was seen in the morning. It will be clear towards afternoon/evening,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
“The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 23 degrees Celsius, average for the season,” the IMD official added.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 80 percent.
Friday’s maximum temperature settled at an average for this time of the year at 22.8 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was five notches above average at 13.2 degrees Celsius.
