Clear day for Delhi, Monday will be similar

New Delhi, Jan 20 (IANS) It was a clear and breezy day in the capital Sunday with the maximum temperature settling at 18.4 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season’s average. Similar weather conditions are likely Monday with a fog cover in the morning, a weather official said.

“The sky will be clear in the city with a fog cover in the morning,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

The minimum temperature early Sunday was 6.3 degrees Celsius — a notch below the average.

After rainfall Friday, the capital saw a dry Saturday.

The maximum temperature Saturday was a notch below the season’s average at 18.9 degrees, while the minimum settled at 7.3 degrees Celsius, which was average for this time of year.
