"A new destination, an overnight flight, tired bones... but ready to go... US Open final mens... felt bad for Azarenka loss!!," Bachchan tweeted.

In Monday's final, Novak Djokovic will face Olympic champion Andy Murray, who beat Tomas Berdych at semi-finals on September 8. Earlier, the final was scheduled on Sunday but it was shifted due to bad weather.

It's the fifth consecutive year that the US Open men's title match has been played a day later than planned. Sports enthusiast Bachchan had earlier carried the London Olympic torch a day before the opening ceremony of the Games.
