Two fishermen were killed and two were missing after the fishing vessel they were on was struck by an unknown merchant vessel off the Kerala coast early today morning.

The two fishermen who were killed were identified asFrancis Justine and Xavier, Times Now reported.
The fishermen were on board fishing vessel ‘Don I’ when it was struck by the vessel around 3 am today morning off the coast of Alleppey district, officials said.
Two of the fishermen on board the ship managed to swim to safety while two are still missing, police officials said.
Coast Guard and Navy vessels have been rushed for search and rescue operations, they said.
