  • The pitch still looks to good to bat on and India are the clear favourites to win. However, as we saw in the last game, one spell can turn things around. The dark clouds are still hovering over the ground and let's hope that they stay away and we get on with the second innings. Join us back for the chase!
  • Jasprit Bumrah was once again the tormentor-in-chief for the visitors. His figures read - 10-2-27-5! Axar Patel was tight and scalped a wicket as well while Hardik Pandya and man with the golden arm, Kedar Jadhav were the others with a wicket to their name. Bhuvneshwar Kumar was once again wicketless but was economical and so was Yuzvendra Chahal. India's fielding though was very ordinary today and Kohli would be very disappointed with that.
  • Once that stand was broken, the Lankan collapse started. Thirimanne tried to anchor the innings but in process to up the ante, he lost his wicket. Milinda Siriwardana's cameo lower down the order ensured that Sri Lanka go past the 200-run mark.
  • In the end Sri Lanka have done well to get near 220! However, it was another dismal batting performance from them. Niroshan Dickwella failed to get the hosts off to a flier and then Kusal Mendis' wicket soon after meant Dinesh Chandimal and Lahiru Thirimanne had to resurrect the innings. Both of them were slow to take off but stitched a valuable 72-run stand. The latter completed his third consecutive half century while the former failed to convert his start.
  • 49.6 Full outside off, Fernando drives it powerfully through left of mid off. Jadhav there dives to his left and gets a hand to it. The ball slows down and Kedar can chase it down. A brace to end the innings. SRI LANKA FINISH ON 217/9!
  • 49.5 On a length outside off, Malinga hangs his bat in the air and gets an outside edge towards third man. A single is taken.
  • 49.4 Four Byes! Awkward bounce! Slower one outside off, another play and a miss from Malinga. The ball bounces in front of Dhoni and just takes off from the turf. He is lucky that he doesn't hit him on the face. The ball races behind and four byes are signalled.
  • 49.3 Pitched outside off, Malinga looks to put bat on ball but is outfoxed by the slow-paced delivery.
  • 49.2 Length delivery around off, defended well.
  • 49.1 The batsman has defended it by getting right behind the line of the delivery.
  • 48.6 Slower one outside off, Fernando fails to put bat on ball. 210/9
  • 48.5 Short outside off, Vishwa goes for the hook but it's too quick for him.
  • Lasith Malinga is the last man in.
  • 48.5 OUT! Chameera is way short of his crease! Banged in short, angling down leg. It's too short and Dhoni leaps to his left to grab the ball. Fernando from the other end takes off but Chameera hesitates a touch. He finally decides to go for the run but is late. Dhoni throws the ball to Bhuvneshwar, who collects the ball and whips the bails off. The umpire signals wide and then refers it upstairs. The replays show Chameera to be run out.
  • The umpire has gone upstairs to refer the run out appeal against Chameera. He seems to be short of his crease by miles but still the umpire doesn't want to take any risks.
  • 48.4 Banged in short, Chameera makes room to hook it away but misses.
  • 48.3 Very full on middle, driven hard through mid on. Kohli in the deep sprints towards the ball and keeps them down to one.
  • 48.2 Wide outside off, squeezed through covers for a single.
  • 48.1 FOUR! Pierced! Back of a length delivery, angling in, Chameera throws kitchen sink at it. Connects it off the meat and the ball races through backward square leg for a boundary. Bhuvneshwar Kumar is having an off day!
  • 47.6 The batsman shows the full face of the bat and defends the ball off the back foot. 203/8
  • 47.5 Full outside off, bunted over covers for a couple.
  • Vishwa Fernando is the new man in.
  • 47.4 OUT! Bumrah has the last laugh! Maiden 5-fer for him as well! Once again Siriwardana tries to go after Bumrah, makes room to smash but misses. And, the ball sneaks through the rattle the woodwork. This is a timely wicket for India as Siriwardana had started to look dangerous. 11th wicket in the series for Jasprit and that's the highest by any Indian bowler in Sri Lanka.
  • 47.4 Wide! Length delivery outside leg, Siriwardana sways away from the line and gets a wide.
  • 47.3 FOUR! 200 up for Sri Lanka! Full around off, Siriwardana makes room and plays it inside out over covers. That's a fabulous shot and the ball goes on the bounce across the fence. Back-to-back boundaries and that will spoil Bumrah's figures. Siriwardana was the one who resurrected the Lankan innings in the last game and is doing the same this time around as well.
  • 47.2 FOUR! This time Siriwardana connects! A touch fuller around middle and leg, Siriwardana clears his front leg and slogs it over square leg for a boundary. Valuable runs, these!
  • 47.1 Siriwardana makes room, Bumrah follows him with a slower one. The slower one does Milinda in and he misses his slog and gets rapped on the pads.
  • The rain gods have showed mercy on us as the weather has cleared. The players are back on the field. Three overs are left in the innings and Jasprit Bumrah to continue.
  • Oh no... here comes the rain! There was a threat of a thundershower later in the evening and dare we say, it has come on time. The umpires do not waste any time in bringing the covers on and the entire square is covered. It does look a bit heavy.
  • 46.6 Another bouncer outside off, Chameera sways away from it. That shall be another maiden in this innings. This time from Bhuvneshwar Kumar and that too in the 47th over. Sums up the Lankan innings perfectly. 192/7
  • 46.5 Short outside off, Chameera goes for the pull but misses.
  • 46.4 A similar delivery and once again Chameera goes after it. The ball brushes the pads and goes to the keeper.
  • 46.3 Angling down leg, Chameera goes after it but misses. The ball brushes the pads and goes towards the keeper.
  • 46.2 Banged in short, Chameera goes for the hook but misses it completely.
  • 46.1 Full outside off, Chameera defends it off the front foot.
  • Bhuvneshwar Kumar is back on.
  • 45.6 Played through mid-wicket by the batsman. They pick up a single. 192/7
  • Dushmantha Chameera is the new man in. A slip is in place now!
  • 45.5 OUT! Back-to-back 4-fers for Jasprit Bumrah! He becomes the first Indian to secure back-to-back 4-fers in ODIs against Sri Lanka! Bowls a cutter around middle, Dananjaya gives it a big swing but misses and the ball crashes onto the stumps. The variation proved to be too good for the tailender. 10 wickets in the series and this is his personal best as well!
  • 45.4 Beaten! On a good length outside off, Dananjaya feels for it but gets beaten.
  • 45.3 The batsman picked that bouncer early and let it through to the keeper. Mixing it up nicely!
  • 45.2 Outside off, pushed to covers.
  • 45.1 Back of a length delivery, angling in, Siriwardana goes for the pull but gets it off the pads on the leg side. The batsmen scamper through. The umpire gives it as a run so there might be some bat involved.
  • Jasprit Bumrah is back on.
  • 44.6 Tossed up outside off, pushed through covers for a single. 190/6
  • 44.5 Full on middle, swept behind square leg for a single.
  • 44.4 The batsman has flicked the ball off his pads. One run added to the total.
  • 44.3 FOUR! Slogged away! Tossed up on middle, Siriwardana kneels down and slog sweeps it in front of square on the leg side for a boundary.
  • 44.2 Run out chance! Tossed up around leg, Dananjaya turns it on the leg side and takes off for a single. Chahal chases it down and has a shy at the bowler's end. Akila puts in a desperate dive and completes the single as the throw misses the stumps. Replays show that a direct hit would have had Dananjaya.
  • 44.1 Tossed up around off, eased down to long off for a single.
  • Akila Dananjaya walks out to bat.
  • 43.6 OUT! Timber! In trying to up the ante, Kapugedera departs! Full and straight on middle, the Lankan skipper makes room to hammer it but misses it completely. The ball sneaks through and knock off the leg pole. Another batsman departs and Sri Lanka are failing to stitch some partnerships here. Patel has his first one of the game! 181/6
  • 43.5 Full on middle and leg, Siriwardana kneels down and slogs it on the bounce to deep mid-wicket for a single.
  • 43.4 Almost chopped on! Arm ball around off, Siriwardana looks to guide it late but gets an bottom edge which goes just past the off pole.

  • 43.2 Full outside off, tonked through mid off for a single.
  • 43.1 Sliding into the pads, nudged on the leg side.
  • 42.6 Fired full outside off, Siriwardana drives it powerfully past the diving extra cover fielder. Bhuvneshwar from long off, runs across to his right and keeps the Lankans down to just a single. That is poor running from the duo. 178/5

  • 41.5 The batsman has driven it straight down the ground, where Axar dives to his left to make the stop.

  • 41.3 Arm ball around off, chopped to cover.
  • 41.2 Sliding into the batsman, turned to mid-wicket.
  • 41.2 Wide! Darts it down the leg side. Siriwardana kneels down to paddle sweep but misses. The umpire spreads his arms to signal wide.
  • 41.1 FOUR! Streaky! Flat and straight around off, Siriwardana goes back to punch but gets a healthy outside edge. It flies past Dhoni and to the third man fence. If there had been a slip, it would have been a catching opportunity.

Fails to get the required elevation and the ball flies straight to the Kedar, who takes it with ease in a reverse cup. Bumrah strikes again, completes yet another 3-fer! Gets rapped on the front pad and the players appeal. The umpire raises his finger straightaway. Mathews after a discussion with Thirimanne goes for the review. Ultra Edge doesn't spot any involvement of the bat and the Hawk Eye shows three reds. Mathews has to depart. He has only himself to blame on this as it was a poor choice of shot from the ex-Lankan skipper. The man with the golden arm, Jadhav has struck one again.

Ultra Edge shows that there was no involvement of the bat but Hawk Eye shows the ball to be pitching outside leg. That saves Niroshan. Good use of the review from the hosts!

  • 2.2 Fuller and wide outside off, Dinesh waits for it and then dabs it to third man for a single.

Jadhav there, hares to his right, slides in to stop but fumbles and the ball trickles away to the fence. Kohli won't be happy with this start.
  • The players are out in the middle. NIROSHAN DICKWELLA and DINESH CHANDIMAL to open for Sri Lanka. BHUVNESHWAR KUMAR to operate with the first new ball. A couple of slips in place for him. Here we go...
  • Virat Kohli says that he would have bowled first. Informs that they were rocked in the last game by an bowler unknown to them and adds that it was a good learning from them. Mentions that they wanted to have a total on board and chase. Adds that they were quite relaxed as they can't do much from the outside but just back the guys in the middle. On that game he further adds that it was one of the bizarre games he has ever witnessed in his ODI career. Ends by saying that there are no changes to his side.
  • Chamara Kapugedera says that the mood is pretty good. Informs that they fought hard but failed to step over the line. However, he mentions that the motivation is good. Mentions that they have spoken about the over-rate in the team meeting and have certain plans for it. Informs the two changes - LAHIRU THIRIMANNE and DINESH CHANDIMAL come in for the suspended Tharanga and injured Gunathilaka.
  • TOSS - Sri Lanka win their first toss in the series. They opt to bat first.
  • PITCH REPORT - Zaheer Khan and Russell Arnold inspecting the pitch say that today's match will be played a couple of strips further from the previous match but nothing much has changed. Add that it's a nice and firm track with a tinge of grass on one end which the fast bowlers would look to make use of it. They inform that as we have seen in the last few ODIs, there isn't much swing on offer but the bowlers will get help off the seam. Ends by saying it's a good toss to lose.
  • Sri Lanka will be without their regular skipper Upul Tharanga after he was handed a 2-game ban. Chamara Kapugedera will captain the side in his absence, 20th ODI skipper for the Islanders. The hosts will hope that it bring change in luck as it's a do or die game for them. It's overcast already and passing showers have been predicted throughout the day. Let's hope that it stays away and we have an undisturbed game.
  • Hello everyone to a beautiful Sunday afternoon. It's a great weekend for the cricketing fans around the world as we have three international games lined up for you. One of them is the third ODI between Sri Lanka and India. The Men in Blue have taken a 2-0 lead in the 5-match series and will look to seal the deal today itself with yet another victory.
  • Okay then! 3-0 to India with 2 matches to go. We now head to Colombo for what is left of this tour - 2 ODIs and a T20I. Can the Lankans show any fight? Join us on Thursday, 31st August, 2017 at 1430 local (0900 GMT) for the fourth ODI. Until then, you can catch all the action from the Eng-WI and Ban-Aus Tests. Adios! Take Care!
  • Victorious Indian skipper, VIRAT KOHLI says that small targets are a bit tricky but is not too fussed with the top order flopping just for a couple of games. Does not want to look too much into the collapse in the previous game and the failures today. Stresses that people need to be patient with the evolving middle order which is learning. Praises Jasprit Bumrah and calls him amongst India's top bowlers at the moment and adds that he has taken bowling in the death overs like a fish takes to water. Definitely will look to experiment in the coming ODIs, he says.
  • Sri Lankan skipper CHAMARA KAPUGEDERA says that the reason to bat first was that he felt that it was a good wicket, so wanted to put some runs and then defend them. On being asked about 29 overs of dot balls in the batting, he admits that rotating the strike was an issue and it needs to be discussed in the team meeting. States that he enjoyed the captaincy in spite of being under pressure.
  • JASPRIT BUMRAH has been named the MAN OF THE MATCH for his maiden five-wicket haul in ODIs. States that it is always good to make a comeback after a break, coming back refreshed. Feels that it was a different wicket as the last one was slow but this one here was a bit of movement with the new ball. Adds that it is a good feeling to be contributing to the team's cause.
  • The Lankan bowling was not wayward to be honest. But it was not threatening either. Akila Dananjaya kept a lid on the Indians and so did Siriwardana but nothing much from the rest. Malinga and Fernando started off well but could not quite induce enough pressure. Stay tuned for the presentation...
  • Forgettable match again for Sri Lanka. This has been that sort of a tour for them, right from the Tests. Apart from the second ODI, they have not made India sweat and poor batting displays are not helping them. It was Siriwardana with a half century in the previous game while it was Thirimanne with a gritty 80 today, but they need the seniors to step up.
  • Earlier in the day, India produced yet another brilliant bowling display - this time led by Jasprit Bumrah who grabbed his maiden 5-for in ODIs. Every game, someone or the other steps up for the visitors. Excellent signs for the future with everyone doing well consistently.
  • The Indians would be a bit worried regarding the type of dismissals today - pretty loose and just throwing them away. But considering that the game has been won, it might not be too much of a thought. But consistent failures for Rahul and Jadhav might just tempt the Indian think tank to look at the reserves, given that the series has been done and dusted.
  • Easy win for the Indians, marred a bit by the unsporting Sri Lankan crowd. They were in a bit of bother during the run chase but calm and cool Rohit Sharma shepherded them through with an unbeaten 124. Giving him good company and playing second fiddle was MS Dhoni, who made an unnoticed 67 in a partnership of 157.
  • 45.1 This ends the game. A full toss down the leg side, Dhoni looks to flick but gets a bit of a top edge which clears the infield. India take the required single and WIN BY 6 WICKETS AND 29 BALLS TO SPARE! They also gain an unassailable 3-0 lead in the series with 2 matches to go!
  • VISHWA FERNANDO to bowl possibly the final over of the game...

  • 150-run stand is up between these two...
  • 44.1 A length ball around off, worked to short mid-wicket for a quick single.
  • The match referee ANDY PYCROFT has a word with the managers from both the teams. Out come the umpires to the middle, followed by the players. The section which was creating nuisance has been cleared and a whole army of policemen is monitoring the crowd. Rohit and Dhoni now come onto the field. 8 runs needed...here is Dushmantha Chameera...
  • The umpires are shaking hands with the players. The players are being taken in and the stadium is being cleared.
  • No improvement in the scenario. Dhoni and Rohit take the time and sit lazily on the ground, just relaxing. This is not helping anyone. Every player would want this game done and dusted with.
  • Uh oh... not acceptable. The frustrated crowd is throwing bottles onto the ground and there is a holdup in play. Completely agree with the frustration of the Sri Lankan supporters but not quite sure this is the right way to vent it out.
  • 43.6 Comes down the track and pushes it to long on for a single. 12 from the over, just might be the last one coming up next. 210/4
  • 43.5 Full and around off, watchfully defended.

  • 43.1 Around off, defended from the crease.
  • 42.6 That is actually a terrific stop from Malinga. Short and wide outside off, Dhoni crashes this behind point. Two runs taken. 198/4

  • 42.3 A length ball outside off, watchfully defended.

  • 40.4 Outside off, dabbed to backward point.
  • 40.3 Full and outside off, pushed through the covers for a single.

  • 40.1 Around middle, defended to the leg side.
  • POWERPLAY 3 now. 5 fielders allowed outside the circle. Does it matter?
  • 39.6 Short and outside off, punched through mid on for one more. 186/4
  • 39.5 In the air... NOT TAKEN! Difficult chance though. Tossed up on middle, Rohit comes down the track, looking to go big but miscues it high the air. Chamara Kapugedera takes a start from short mid-wicket, but is a bit late. In the end, he circles a bit under the ball, ends up getting away from it and then dives forward but cannot reach the ball. A single taken.

  • 16.2 A bouncer outside off, Rohit ails out of the shot but the ball climbs out of nowhere and Niroshan Dickwella leaps to stop it one-handed. Brilliant. India were sloppy in the field earlier while on contrary, the home side has been brilliant so far.

  • MS Dhoni is the new man in. Can he continue from where he left off in the second ODI?
  • 15.1 OUT! Dananjaya strikes again! This is Jadhav's second ball that he faced. First one was the googly and this time it's the classical leg spin. Tossed up on middle, Jadhav kneels down to sweep but misses and gets rapped on the back thigh. Looks plumb and the umpire immediately raises his finger to the Sri Lankan appeal. This was a poor choice of shot from Kedar. The pressure was building on India as the previous over from Chameera was a maiden. Jadhav's poor show continues. The Islanders are on top currently. 157 needed off 209 balls!
  • Time for a drinks break! India have been rocked hard by the spirited Lankan side. Their bowlers have been disciplined and are reaping fruits for it. The visitors need a partnership to get back on track.

  • 13.5 OUT! Straight to the man! The bowling change works. It is not this ball which has got the wicket but the ones before this. Dananjaya has been foxing the batsmen and drops this one slightly short, around middle. • DUSHMANTHA CHAMEERA is back on. Nope. Change of mind. It is last game's hero - AKILA DANANJAYA.
  • 12.6 Played to the point region by the batsman. They pick up a single. 58/2
  • 12.5 MIX-UP, SAFE! Nervous moment for Rahul. He taps this towards cover-point and sets off for a single. But then he stops. However, Rohit is always eager for the single and races across. Rahul has no option but to go now and somehow manages to get across to the other end as there is a bit fumble in the field.
  • 12.4 Outside off, angling in, tucked towards short mid-wicket for a single.
  • 12.3 The batsman has played that off the front foot and into the ground.

  • 10.4 Fuller and outside off, pushed straight to cover.
  • 10.3 EXCELLENT FIELDING! That can lift the Lankans a bit. It is the substitute, WANINDU HASARANGA. The ball is utter rubbish, short and wide, at a military medium pace of 123 kph outside off, Rohit crashes this through point but Hasaranga dives to his right and stops the ball cleanly.
  • 10.2 Outside off, a bit wide, Sharma waits for the ball and then guides it to third man for a single.
  • 10.1 FOUR! That will ease the pressure a bit. A short ball around middle, Rohit swivels and pulls this through square leg. There is a fielder in the deep but he is a bit wide, at mid-wicket and his dive cannot prevent the boundary. 179 more needed from 239 balls now. The stand is worth 20 from 30 deliveries.
  • POWERPLAY 2 has been signalled. 4 fielders allowed outside the circle till the 40th over but Sri Lanka have chosen only 3. It has been a good Mandatory Powerplay for the hosts, picking up 2 wickets and conceding only 35 runs.
  • 9.6 Flicks this away for a single. 35/2
  • 9.5 The batsman defends it from within the crease.
  • 9.4 Action replay of the previous delivery.
  • 9.3 Outside off, punched off the back foot.

  • 9.1 On a good length outside off, Rahul looks to force this through the off side but gets a thick inside edge which goes onto his pads but past the leg stump. On another day, that would have hit the stumps.
  • 8.6 EDGED, FOUR! This was coming. Mathews had bowled 5 dots in a row and the last one would have probably induced something from the batsman. Rohit looked to drive but the length was not the right one. There was no feet movement either and the ball flew wide of the diving first slip fielder to the third man fence. Rohit moves to 20 from 30 balls with his 4th boundary. 33/2
  • STAT ALERT - This could be the reason why Kapugedera has brought Mathews on. He has dismissed Rohit 6 times in ODIs - No bowler has got rid of Rohit more often.

  • 8.4 Outside off, stays low a touch, punched straight to cover.

  • 8.2 Outside off, played straight to point.
  • 8.1 On a length outside off, a bit wide, moving away, left alone.

  • 7.6 Outside off, left alone. 29/2
  • 7.5 Down the leg side, Rohit misses his flick and the ball goes off his pads to the leg side. Fernando tries to distract the umpire with an LBW appeal but gets nothing. A leg bye taken. The stand moves to 10 from 16 balls. 189 more needed from 253 balls now.
  • 7.4 Works this behind square now on the leg side for a single.
  • SRI LANKA TEAM CAMP - Well, this has come as a bit of a shock for the Lankans. Dinesh Chandimal was hit on the arm while batting earlier today and has not taken the field. In fact, he has been ruled out of the game. He has suffered a HAIRLINE FRACTURE on his left arm, which might not mean good news for the remainder of the tour either.
  • 7.3 Tries a repeat of the delivery which got Kohli but every time one cannot be lucky. LR flicks this half volley on the leg stump through square leg and gets off the mark with a couple.
  • 7.2 This time the defense is better as Lokesh blocks it.
  • 7.1 On a good length around off, Rahul looks to work it through the leg side but the ball curves in, takes him by surprise and he somehow manages to push it back.

  • 6.5 Closer to the off stump, angling in, watchfully defended.
  • 6.4 UPPISH, BUT SAFE! Point was almost in action there. The fielder does well to stop it with a slide. Two runs taken.

  • 6.1 On the pads, Chameera is lucky to get away with that as Rohit flicks it straight to short mid-wicket.
  • First bowling change of the night. DUSHMANTHA CHAMEERA replaces Malinga. The new-ball bowlers have done their job with breakthroughs. Can Chameera make use of the platform?

  • 5.5 Closer to the off stump this time, angling away again, watchfully let go.
  • 5.4 Similar to the first ball Rahul faced, angling away, a bit too wide to be played, shouldered arms to.
  • 5.3 Around middle and leg, defended from the crease.
  • 5.2 Full and outside off, angling away, left alone.
  • LOKESH RAHUL walks in at number 4, replacing his skipper.
  • 5.1 OUT! Kohli picks his man to perfection! The Indian skipper has a wry smile on his face. It was a poor delivery and should have been dispatched, but instead, it has resulted in a wicket. A fuller delivery, on the pads, Kohli flicks it beautifully with nice timing but it is uppish. Dushmantha Chameera has a few paces to cover to his left from fine leg and he does that well, cupping the ball near his tummy. Kohli cannot believe it. Sri Lanka will not mind. India rocked early. 199 more needed from 269 balls.
  • 4.6 On a length outside off, moving away, VK pushes it behind point for one. 9 runs from that over. 19/1

  • 4.5 Slants this on the pads, comfortably tucked through square leg for a run. Moves to 10 from 17 balls.
  • 4.4 FOUR! SLAUGHTERED! Short and wide outside off, slower in pace, Rohit camps on his back foot and crashes it past a diving point to his right for a boundary!
  • 4.3 Keeps this in line of the stumps, Virat gets across, stays in his crease and tucks it wide of mid on for a single.
  • 4.2 Full and outside off, swinging away a touch, Kohli comes forward and drives it sweetly but it is intercepted nicely by the man at short extra cover to his right.
  • 4.1 Slants this on the pads, Rohit clips this to deep square leg for a single.
  • 3.6 Maiden from Fernando! And that too against Virat Kohli, brilliant! This is good stuff from the youngster, who backs up his senior man with a tight over. Fuller around off, pushed gently to mid off for no run. This will sustain the pressure on the Indians! 10/1
  • 3.5 Wide outside off, pushed off the front foot to covers.
  • 3.4 Full and straight on middle, defended with the angle to covers.
  • 3.3 Angling across Kohli, who goes after it but misses. He has to be more careful as he has the habit of being drawn into off drives.

  • 3.1 Fuller on middle and leg, defended from within the crease.

  • 2.2 Kohli gets off the mark with a gentle dab in the mid-wicket region for a single.
  • Virat Kohli is the new man in.
  • 2.1 OUT! Chopped on! Length delivery, angling away. Dhawan stays back to glide it away but gets an inside edge onto the stumps. That's a massive, massive blow for India. This is the first time Dhawan has got out on a single digit against Sri Lanka in ODIs. Finally, Malinga strikes! He now moves to 299 ODI wickets.
  • 1.6 NOT OUT! Big inside edge! On a length around leg, angling away. Sharma looks to defend but misses and is rapped on the pads. The players go up in appeal but the umpire stays put. Dickwella is confident and urges his skipper to take the review. Kapugedera obliges. The replays shows there to be a massive inside edge and the Snicko confirms it. Waste of a review from the hosts and they have lost it now. 9/0
  • Sri Lanka have taken the review against Rohit Sharma after he was adjudged not out to an lbw appeal. It seems to be pitching outside leg. Let's see...
  • 1.5 Fuller around leg, pushed to mid on.
