  • Bangladesh were doing decently to keep the hosts under 190 but the over from Saifuddin changed the complexion of the game. How ironic that he was the best bowler for the home side until he leaked 31 runs in his final over and Miller then basked in the momentum. Shakib Al Hasan was brilliant with the ball earlier but will rue the poor bowling towards the end. The tour has been a dismal one for the tourists but can they finish on a high? They will be up against it in the chase. Join us in a while for it.
  • Phew! What an innings, what a brilliant innings from David Miller. 90 runs in the last five overs and South Africa have completely annihilated Bangladesh. Hashim Amla got them off to a flier with a fifty before missing out on the ton. AB de Villiers and JP Duminy could not get going but all was not done. Miller was dropped on 0 by Rahim and he responded with a majestic ton, his first in this format of the game.
  • 19.6 Full and outside off, Behardien drives it through covers and Miller comes back for the second well. What a finish. SOUTH AFRICA FINISH ON 224/4!
  • 19.5 Fuller in length around middle, turned through mid-wicket for a single.
  • 19.4 THERE IT IS! CENTURY FOR MILLER! Fuller outside off, Miller comes forward and drives it through covers and gets a couple of runs. He gets to his maiden T20I ton, the quickest in this format of the game. It has taken him just 35 balls, remember he was dropped on 0. How well has he played? He removes the helmet and acknowledges the applause from the crowd. He has played out of his skin here.
  • 19.3 Fuller in length around leg, Miller turns it through mid-wicket for a couple of runs.
  • 19.2 FOUR! Another boundary! Full toss outside off, Miller swings at it but gets an outside edge. The ball runs down into the third man fence for a boundary. He is on 96 now.
  • 19.1 FOUR! Fuller outside off, Miller looks to slice it over the covers but gets it squarer and the ball runs into the fence. He is down on the ground but on 92!
  • Rubel Hossain comes back on for the final over.
  • 18.6 Fuller outside off, Miller mistimes his drive through covers for a single. Miller's face says it all, that was asking to be hit but David missed out. 31 runs from the over. Spare a thought for the bowler, he has taken two big wickets but has now been plundered for fives sixes in a row. 209/4
  • Can he do it?
  • 18.5 SIX! FIVE SIXES IN A ROW! Short ball comes from Saifuddin but it is not a good one. David Miller waits for it and pulls it over deep square leg for a maximum. That was more of the top edge but still. Can Miller hit another one?
  • Conference time! Shakib has a word with his bowler. A man goes back on the leg side, at square leg. Short ball coming?
  • 18.4 SIX! FOUR IN A ROW! Full and outside leg again, Miller gets across and clips it over the fine leg fence for another biggie. Saifuddin does not know where to go and hides his face inside his jersey. Can David hit 6 in a row?
  • 18.3 SIX! Fuller outside leg, Miller gets across and just clips it over backward square leg for a maximum. Three sixes in a row, can Miller hit 6 in 6?
  • 18.2 SIX! Oh my god! Full and outside off, David Miller just stands in his crease and lofts it over extra cover for another maximum. He holds the pose for the pictures. 1,000 T20I runs for David Miller!

  • 17.6 Slower one outside off, Behardien cannot put it away. Still 15 runs from the over. 178/4
  • 17.5 Slower one on a fuller length around leg, Miller cannot clip it. The ball deflects off the pads wide of the keeper. A leg bye stolen.
  • 17.4 SIX! In the arc, out of the park! Full toss from Taskin, asking to be smashed. Miller gets under it and just crashes it over mid-wicket for a biggie.
  • 17.3 FOUR! Played Miller, 2nd T20I fifty for him. Shorter in length outside off, Miller looks to go hard but gets a top edge to fine leg for a boundary. He was dropped on 0 and how well has he made the visitors pay.

  • 16.3 OUT! Amla holes out! Slower one outside off, Amla looks to go over mid-wicket with a swipe but fails to connect well. The deep mid-wicket fielder gets under it and takes a good catch. That was well bowled by Saifuddin. He has taken out both Amla and de Villiers today. Sarkar was the man in the deep, taking the catch. End of a terrific knock by the South African opener.
  • 16.2 Full and outside off, Amla now looks to paddle it but cannot connect.
  • 16.1 Bowls a good yorker around off and middle, Amla can only dig it out from his crease.
  • Saifuddin called on for a bowl.
  • 15.6 SIX! BOOM! Full and asking to be hit, Miller is too good a batsman to miss out and hence carts it over wide long on for a maximum. What an over for the hosts, 23 from it. 157/3
  • 15.6 WIDE! Bowls it down the leg side, Miller cannot clip it. Wide signaled.
  • 15.5 SIX! Length and dismissed! Length ball around off, David Miller gets under it and smashes it over the long on fence for a biggie. The big shots are coming off easily.

  • 10.1 8th T20I fifty for Hashim Amla! Good length outside off, punched to sweeper cover for a single. It has been a solid knock by him but he will know that he has to carry on. 7th one for him in his last 12 innings.

The ball goes straight to the fielder, Imrul Kayes who takes a good catch. That is a huge wicket and AB won't be happy. The bat turned in his hands while playing that shot. The cameo from de Villiers comes to an end. He was out in the same manner in the previous game too.

  • Hello and welcome to the coverage of the second and final T20I between South Africa and Bangladesh at the Senwes Park, Potchefstroom. The hosts have won everything and will aim to extend their domination. JP Duminy will hope for another good show from his men. The tourists on the other hand have been mentally absent for most part of this tour. They have often been playing conditions in their mind than on offer and it has cost them every single game. Can Shakib Al Hasan lead his troops to one final win before they leave? Stay tuned for the details from the toss.
  • JP Duminy has been handed over the trophy. He is all smiles and is posing for a photograph with his teammates. That brings us to the close of another one-sided series. The Proteas are going from strength-to-strength. They tested their bench strength and a lot of players came out with flying colours. The visitors on the other hand, never really turned up and were beaten black and blue in each format. They are dominant at home but they have to improve drastically in alien conditions if they are to narrow the gulf between them and the top nations. We hope you enjoyed our coverage. Do join us for the future games. Till then, adios and take care!
  • Victorious South Africa skipper, JP Duminy says that he is happy with the performance of the team. Feels that when someone scores a ton from 30-odd balls, you are going to end up on the winning side. Mentions that he is working on his bowling and is pleased that it came out well for him. States that everyone got an outing and it augurs well for them. Informs that a big series is coming up against India. Ends by saying that they will have to play really well to beat them.
  • Man of the Match, David Miller says that scoring the fastest T20I century is very special. Mentions that he was scratchy to begin with but once he started timing the ball well, he grew in confidence. Opines that representing your country is an honour and it is a privilege for him. Felt that he was in the zone when he hit the five maximums. Adds that he wanted the sixth one as well but wasn't able to execute it.
  • Bangladesh skipper, Shakib Al Hasan says that they started off well and bowled in good areas in the first ten overs. Mentions that the way Miller played was outstanding. Feels that this game was a reflection of the series. Reckons that they have been terrific at home in the last two years but have to improve a lot overseas. States that they had their chances early on with Miller but couldn't capitalize. Credits Miller and Amla for their knocks. Ends by saying that they will play Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe at home and hopes that they will do well.
  • Only Soumya Sarkar put up a resemblance of a fight as the rest just capitulated as they have, almost in every game. Everyone picked up a wicket for South Africa apart from Beuran Hendricks with JP Duminy and Aaron Phangiso taking two each. The Tigers kept playing their shots and found the fielders regularly to lose by a huge margin.
  • What a thumping win! South Africa continue their domination of Bangladesh and how? They blanked them in each and every game on this tour and have shown how good and professional a team they are, no matter who plays for them. Today, they were on course for a good total before David Miller powered them to a strong one with his breathtaking century. The chase was always going to be testing and the tourists found that out the hard way.
  • 18.3 OUT! Series 2-0 to South Africa! Short and room on offer, Saifuddin throws his bat at it but cuts it straight towards Amla at backward point who makes no mistake. A thumping win for the hosts. They have whitewashed the visitors completely. SOUTH AFRICA WIN BY 83 RUNS!

The umpire signals a no ball for the height pretty late. So, a Free Hit is coming up.
