World Music Day: Budding Indian artists all set to become nationwide sensations
The Indian music scene has received a huge boost these last few years through events like the NH7 Weekender and the Balcony TV initiative, and the only way we can make aware of this tremendous talent is through supporting them, sharing their music and help them reach out to the masses. On this World Music Day, we take a look at a few artists and bands that have the potential to become the next big thing soon!
aswekeepsearching is a modern post-rock outfit based out of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Formed in 2013, the band has received accolades for their unique all-encompassing sound and their live music prowess. They recently came out with their second album Zia. Get to know more about them here.
Punk On Toast
Punk on Toast (stylised as POT) are a band who have brought back the punk genre with a bang. The band is based out of Mumbai and their sound reflects their major influences which include punk greats like The Ramones and Sex Pistols. They came out with their debut EP 'For Hire' in 2015 to rave reviews. Check them out here.
Bianca Love is a solo artist who was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and dabbles in R&B, gospel, soul and jazz. She worked with the legendary producer Miti Adhikari and has played more than 150 shows in the country. Check out her work here!

The erstwhile singer of the band Gravy Train, Delhi-based singer Tanya Nambiar has been focusing on her solo efforts for sometime now. These artists represent a sort of Renaissance for Indian music, and makes us believe that there is more to our country's music scene. It has not stagnated in Bollywood and is expanding by every passing moment.
