Veteran Bollywood actress Nargis Rabadi, popularly known as Shammi, has passed away at the age of 89, reports Times Now. The exact cause of her death is yet unknown. Designer Sandeep Khosla broke the news of her passing on Instagram. Fondly called ‘Shammi Aunty’ by people who were close to her, the Parsi actress appeared in over 200 films. In a career spanning almost six decades, Shammi appeared in memorable TV shows and movies. Her performances in serials such as Dekh Bhai Dekh, Zabaan Sambhal Ke, Shriman Shrimati, Kabhi Yeh Kabhi Woh and Filmi Chakkar were thoroughly enjoyed by the viewers. Although her entry into films was completely unplanned, she went on to portray the second lead in multiple films such as Bandish, Halaku, Azaad, Sinbad, Ghar Sansar and The Train among others.
