Watching Shah Rukh Khan do a cameo in Salman Khan's Tubelight was the end of a very long wait for those people who wished to see the duo on screen. The two Khans had previously worked together in the year 2007, when Salman made an appearance in the title song of Om Shanti Om.
Fifteen years and numerous films later, Khan finally made an appearance as Goga Pasha, a magician, in the Kabir Khan directorial venture. In a recent development, the two might come together for a song in Aanand L Rai's next, according to Mid-Day.
Firstpost had earlier reported on a possible collaboration between the two. It has now emerged that the collaboration will be in the form of a song choreographed by Remo D'Souza.
As per a Mid-Day source, the song will be integral to the film's plot and will mark a drastic turn of events. An elaborate set has been erected in the Yash Raj Films studio for the song. Although there is no official confirmation yet, it will be a delight to see them both light up the screen together.
Meanwhile, it is being conjectured that Shah Rukh might appear in Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Jagga Jasoos, as well. He was spotted on the sets of the film, which strengthened the rumours further.
Aanand L Rai's film is slated for a Christmas 2018 release. Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma are also going to be a part of the film, along with Shah Rukh, who is playing a dwarf. The three were last seen in Yash Chopra's 2012 release Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
