Saahore Baahubali — This Baahubali 2: The Conclusion song is an ode to ruler of Mahishmati
The new song of SS Rajamouli's upcoming war epic Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, 'Saahore Baahubali', is an ode to the new monarch of the kingdom of Mahishmati - Amrinder Baahubali.
Baahubali: The Beginning left on a point when Amrinder Baahubali was declared as the next ruler of Mahishmati after his efforts to save the general public during a war. 'Saahore Baahubali' is a typical song sung by the subjects singing laurels about their king.
The visuals capture Prabhas, who plays Baahubali, riding on elephants, horses and carrying out some gravity-defying action moves. The song has been sung by Daler Mehendi who has lent his voice to a rare song in a South Indian language in his illustrious career.
The makers seem to have roped him in not only because of his bold and powerful voice but also because of his popularity in north India, particularly in Punjab. This could help the film to extend its pan-Indian reach further north.
The music has been composed by the seasoned music director of south India - MM Keeravani. His knowledge of Indian classical musical instruments, coupled with Mehendi's impactful voice, makes for a formidable combination, a collaboration epic enough for a large-scale franchise like Baahubali.
While only the promo of the song is out, you can imagine by measuring its scale and energy the impact the entire song would leave on the audience, especially if it is enjoyed in a cinema hall since Baahubali 2: The Conclusion will also release in 3D and IMax 3D across the globe.
Baahubali 2: The Conclusion also stars Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia and Sathyaraj. It is the second installment of Rajamouli's 2015 blockbuster Baahubali: The Beginning. It is produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni. Its Hindi version is backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The film is slated to release on 28 April.
