Rohit Shetty, who is currently busy filming Golmaal Again, has confirmed that he and Ranveer Singh will be collaborating soon. The filmmaker told DNA, that the film will be another one of his action-packed outings and will go on floors after Singh wraps up Padmavati and Zoya Akhtar's next.
Rohit Shetty's potboilers usually do well at the box-office and the filmmaker is assured that the recent commercial failure of Hindi films is just a phase.
Commenting on the situation, Shetty says, "This keeps happening every five years and I know it will end soon."
His upcoming multi-starrer comedy Golmaal Again is going to clash at the box-office with Aamir Khan's Secret Superstar and Rajinikanth's 2.0. With three films starring showbiz's top actors releasing at the same day, it will be one epic battle.
Confident about his film, Shetty says clashes are bound to happen since there are limited number of Fridays for films to have individual releases. The genre of his film is also in contrast to that of Khan's or Rajinikanth's. Therefore, it is the audience who will be spoilt for choice during the Diwali weekend.
He also refuted reports of Kareena Kapoor making a cameo appearance in the film. He says if he has to cast Kapoor, it will be for a full-fledged role.
