Watch: Rangasthalam teaser features Samantha Akkineni at her most natural, chirpy avatar yet

After Ram Charan’s never-seen-before avatar, the makers of Rangasthalam have now revealed one more exciting lead from the film. The teaser of the film was released on 9 February. YouTube screengrab[/caption] The 29-second-long teaser of Rangasthalam introduces us to Rama Lakshmi played by Samantha Akkineni. The actress plays the heartthrob of the village and Ram Charan aka Chinna Babu’s love interest in the film. Samantha, clad in half sarees, looks her subtle best. The actress is all things fun, goofy and earthy in her first glimpse from the film. She grabs eye balls with what looks like her most natural and chirpy avatar yet. With Ram Charan’s narrative, the teaser further increases our curiosity in the action drama which seems to be set in the 80s. In the film, Samantha takes a departure from glam roles like Mersal and takes on a completely different avatar. While Rangasthalam has been trending high for Ram Charan and Samantha’s roles, fans are now eager to watch what Aadhi Pinisetty, Anchor Anasuya and Jagapathi Babu among others will do. Directed by Sukumar and with Devi Sri Prasad’s much awaited score, Rangasthalam is all set to release on 30 March. Also, the film has been abuzz for the first song starring the lead; it is slated to release on 13 February. Watch the teaser here:
