Race 3: Sidharth Malhotra to reportedly star opposite Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez

That Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez will be teaming up for Race 3 is well-known. However, according to a DNA report, Sidharth Malhotra might be the latest actor to join the cast. He has reportedly been approached to star in the film by the makers, who were on a hunt to rope in a fresh face alongside Khan. YouTube screengrab.[/caption] Although the A Gentleman actor has not confirmed his involvement yet, speculations are rife about him wrapping up Aiyaary and joining the franchise. There have also been murmurs about Khan playing a villainous character, however, the unnamed source clarified that the Tubelight actor will never play a bad guy on screen as he cares about what message his portrayal sends across to viewers. As for Khan and Fernandez, the two have previously worked together in 2014 movie Kick directed by Sajid Nadiadwala.The latter had confirmed at a recent event that after Judwaa 2, she will be shooting for Drive which is Tarun Mansukhani’s next with Sushant Singh Rajput and then it will be Race 3 with Khan. While Salman, 51, has replaced Saif Ali Khan as the lead in the action-thriller, Fernandez is not new to the franchise, either. She starred in the 2013’s Race 2. With inputs from PTI.
