Anushka Sharma is changing what it means to be blue-eyed.
In the last poster of her upcoming film Pari, she looked positively terrifying with her pale skin, piercing blue eyes and haunted expression. In the latest one, she can be seen lying on the floor between two curtains, with her hands outstretched.

She has a lost, listless look on her face and can be seen plugged into her earphones, perhaps listening to a song on what seems to be an iPod or MP3 player. Her legs are bruised above the ankles, which seems to indicate that her character has been tortured or tied by someone. If these two posters are anything to go by, her persona in the film will be a complete antithesis of its title.
Pari sees Anushka Sharma don the hat of a producer for the third time, after NH10 and Phillauri; she essayed the role of a ghost in the latter, too. However, this character was a positive one, unlike her role in this upcoming film. It is jointly being produced by her company Clean Slate Films, and KriArj Entertainment.
She will collaborate with Bengali actor Parambrata Chatterjee and debutant director Prosit Roy. "Pari is a great script, and I have complete faith in the vision of the director," remarked Sharma, while announcing the film. It went on floors in June 2017.
The music of the film has been credited to National Award winning music composer Anupam Roy. Speaking about the film, he said, "I am really excited to be a part of Pari. I am very fond of the team and looking forward to create a melodious sound track."
Pari is scheduled to release on 9 February 2018.
