It seems like a lot of couples in Hollywood are heading for splitsville.
Following news of the Brangelina divorce, the 21 Grams actress Naomi Watts and husband Liev Schreiber have released a joint statement on Monday, 26 September 2016, saying that they have decided to separate after 11 years together.
The couple has been together since 2005 and have two sons together, Alexander 'Sasha,' and Samuel.
The couple's joint statement to The Hollywood Reporter said, "Over the past few months we've come to the conclusion that the best way forward for us as a family is to separate as a couple. It is with great love, respect, and friendship in our hearts that we look forward to raising our children together and exploring this new phase of our relationship. While we appreciate your curiosity and support, we ask the press to be mindful of our children and respect their right to privacy."
The couple is also co-staring in the upcoming biopic Bleeder.
Bleeder chronicles the life of boxing champion Chuck Wepner as he prepares to fight Muhammad Ali in 1975. The film stars Schreiber as Wepner and Watts as his wife, Linda Wepner.
Watts can also be seen on the big screen in the psychological thriller Shut In which also stars 9-year-old Room breakout star Jacob Tremblay.
