This weekend's episode kick-started with the Chhaiyya Chhaiyya fame Malaika Arora Khan, who set the stage on fire with her dance moves as she grooved to Kar Gai Chull.
Among the contestants, it’s Bharti and Harsh’s turn to perform first but Harsh couldn’t do so because of his leg injury. So Bharti was left with no other option than to dance with her choreographer Savyo. She was, however, showered with compliments and everybody liked her performance to such an extent that celebrity guest Arjun Kapoor instantly got up to shake a leg with her.
But even as the judges gave them permission to perform without Harsh, judge and choreographer Terence Lewis sternly told all the participants that henceforth they will not be allowed to perform without their real life partners irrespective of the reason.
Up next was Shoaib and Dipika who gave an average performance on Salman Khan’s popular number, Main Hoon Hero Tera. While Terence praised the choreography and felt that there were some master strokes, judge Mohit Suri was impressed by some cute steps in the midst of ‘acrobats’.
Arjun Kapoor felt that the couple was dancing for each other rather than to impress the world. Further, Shoaib was made to perform with Malaika and Shraddha Kapoor on the raunchy Fevicol dance number.
After Shoaib and Dipika, Abigail and Sanam performed and they nail it. It can be called their best performance so far because of their superb chemistry. Besides, the couple was dancing in a very challenging setting with both aerial and rain as the backdrop despite Abigail's fear of heights.
Arjun Kapoor was deeply impressed, and since the couple performed on the Baarish song from his upcoming film, Half Girlfriend, the actor jokingly told his director-judge Mohit that they should re-shoot the song and for which they can get trained by Sanam and Abigail.
“It was unbelievable how you guys completely owned the song. We would like to take classes from both of you,” said Arjun. It was a “magical performance” according to judge Malaika, who announced that they deserved the perfect score. All in all, Abigail and Sanam managed to woo the audience and judges with their act. No wonder they scored full 30 points which they had aimed at.
Even as RJ Pritam and Amanjot managed to impress the judges with their solid performance that addressed the ‘War of the sexes’, they had to bid adieu to the show.
“There were many fumbles which kind of messed up in many portions,” said Terence. However, it may be recalled that earlier, in the course of three weeks, they had performed well and were the first couple to get a perfect 30 in this season.
