Tiger Shroff and Nidhhi Agerwal have recreated a song from the 2009 Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer Love Aaj Kal, in their upcoming film Munna Michael. The duo have revived the hit track 'Chor Bazari' from Imtiaz Ali's romantic comedy, according to Pune Mirror.
Saif and Padukone were seen frolicking around Delhi in the 2009 song. The song from Munna Michael was also shot in the Lodi Gardens in Delhi in March.
Agerwal and Shroff are enjoying a date in the song, when the song suddenly plays on the radio and Agerwal starts bopping to the music, spontaneously.
The recreation was an impromptu affair as the director Sabbir Khan recognised the similarities between his song and 'Chor Bazari' only when the shooting for his song was underway.
Sabbir also told Pune Mirror that the shoot location of the songs is not the only thing that runs common. Both Agerwal and Padukone hail from Bangalore.
Sabbir also added that although the similarities were uncanny and thankfully, the rights of the 2009 song were with the same company which owns the rights to Munna Michael's tracks, too. Therefore, it all worked out and the song was revived in the most unexpected way possible.
Munna Michael is slated for a 21 July release.
