Parineeti Chopra attracted eyeballs and eardrums alike, for her debut song as a vocalist in her next film, Akshay Roy's romantic comedy Meri Pyaari Bindu. Chopra plays a singer in the film and that is why her song 'Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi' gained even more attraction.
Now, Roy has tweeted the poster of the film that also gives the viewers a sneak peek into the profession of his character. The poster features Chopra holding a microphone and a huge CD in her hands, further validating the assumption that her character is a vocalist.
Ayushmann Khurrana sports the signature writer look. What's interesting is the title of the book he has written and is holding in the poster - 'Chudail Ki Choli'. The picture is accompanied by a caption that reads: "Bindu ki kahaani, Abhimanyu ki zubani." This further adds intrigue to his character and the plot of the film.

What we can guess is that his character writes erotic or horror genres. Even the font and colours used in the poster lends it an air of pulp fiction, a genre that Abhimanyu, Khurrana's character presumably specialises in.
The Indian Express reports that Meri Pyaari Bindu will also feature a rehashed version, as is the trend, of the song of the same name from Jyothi Swaroop's 1968 comedy Padosan, sung by Kishore Kumar. The rehashed version will be composed by Sachin-Jigar and penned down by Kausar Munir. It will be sung by a host of singers - Chopra, Khurrana, Shreya Ghoshal, Kumar Sanu and Monali Thakur.
Meri Pyaari Bindu marks Chopra's sixth and Khurrana's third collaboration with Yash Raj Films. It will see the two young actors share screen space for the first time.
Meri Pyaari Bindu is co-produced by Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films and Maneesh Sharma. It is slated to release on 12 May.
