Master of None: Season 2 trailer has Eat-Pray-Love feel combined with operatic music
Going on dates, partying in a limo, eating cheese at a farm — Aziz Ansari is living the good life in the trailer of the second season of his show Master of None.
The trailer has a distinctly Italian feel, complete with operatic music playing in the background and black-and-white stills of Ansari cycling down what seems to be an Italian street and drinking coffee. He announces that he will be visiting this country at the end of the last season. The Italian love song is sung by Ansari himself.
It also features shots of Ansari attending piano recitals, riding through the countryside and dancing in the kitchen at night in his pyjamas with a woman. In the trailer are some familiar faces such as Denise, Arnold and his parents, and some new ones, such as John Legend. His on-and-off girlfriend Rachel is missing.
This season will see Ansari's character Dev Shah return to New York after his travels abroad, deal with challenges in his personal and professional life and the development of a relationship with someone who matters a great deal to him.
Master of None was created by Ansari and Alan Yang. It begins streaming on Netflix on 12 May, 2017.
