Madhuri Dixit to be seen riding a bike in her upcoming Marathi slice-of-life film Bucket List
Madhuri Dixit is often regarded as one of the most phenomenal actresses in Bollywood, owing to her charm, audience appeal, dancing skills and remarkable performances. Even at the age of 50, the actress continues to command the same attention and adulation from her peers and fans alike. No wonder, when it was announced that she would star in a Marathi film — the first one in her 27 years in celluloid — her fans were overwhelmed.
She is all set to be seen in the upcoming slice-of-life film Bucket List directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar. According to recent reports she will be seen riding a bike — donning a leather jacket and boots — for one of the sequences in the film, reports Mid-day.
The report further adds that the sequence in the film portrays a "self-realisation phase" of Dixit's character, who is a regular homemaker. There are many such phases in the film. The bike-riding sequence was reportedly shot in Pune in broad daylight.
Speaking about the shoot, Deoskar told Mid-day, "MD (what people fondly call Dixit on the sets) has been shooting 12 hours a day and never once made us feel we were working with a big star. She never carried any baggage to the sets and understands that regional films have their limitations. She's adjusted effortlessly."
Bucket List's first three schedules, in Mumbai, Alibaug and Langkawi, have been wrapped up; the current schedule in Pune is underway. Dixit will also be seen along with her Hum Aapke Hain Koun co-actor Renuka Shahane, and Sumit Raghavan in the film.
