Mumbai: Comedienne-actress Sugandha Mishra had an awkward encounter on TV show The Voice India Season 2 when she tried to mimic National Award-winning actress Kangana Ranaut in her presence.
Kangana along with co-actor Shahid Kapoor had appeared on the show to promote her upcoming film Rangoon.
Singers Salim Merchant and Shaan, who appear as coaches on the show, goaded Sugandha to mimic Kangana while she was present as a guest.
To that, Kangana said: "I feel like slapping her."
A source from the set said: "It was a tense moment after Kangana's shocking statement. It was awkward for Sugandha, but she took it in a sporting spirit and continued with the shoot."
The Voice India Season 2 is aired on &TV.
Previously, during the shooting of The Kapil Sharma Show, Shah Rukh Khan too had left Sugandha in tears when he told her that she is a bad performer and should refrain from dancing. He later clarified that he had been joking, and cheered Sugandha up.
We're of the view that Kangana was probably just playing a prank on Sugandha too.
