'Kabali' fever catches up with the Indian cricket team as Raina, Ashwin come out rooting
'Kabali' fever has now caught up with the Indian cricket team as well. With the film releasing on 22 July, even cricketers have come out rooting for Rajinikanth.
Ravinchandra Ashwin and Suresh Raina, who used to represent Chennai Super Kings have expressed their excitement about 'Kabali'.
Released on Friday, Kabali is a new Tamil movie written and directed by Pa. Ranjith, starring Rajinikanth as the title character.
Probably the biggest matinee idol if the South, Rajinikanth, 65, is still going strong so much so that some companies have given their employees a holiday on Friday for them to catch their favorite superstar.
Both Ashwin and Raina took to social media platforms to express their excitement about the film. They tweeted

Ashwin, who is currently touring the Caribbean as part of the Indian Test team hails from Chennai and is a big fan of Rajinikanth. Ashwin migth not get a chance to watch the film now, but he'd hoping the tour to end soon so he could too have the Kabali fever.
