The makers of Judwaa 2 have released the poster of their film, featuring the lead actor Varun Dhawan, who will be seen in a double role in the sequel. While the poster does not flash the name of the film, the two avatars of Varun leaning against a gigantic '2' speaks for itself.
Salman Khan carried the 1997 prequel on his shoulders by donning the roles of Prem and Raj. As Prem, which he got from his debut film Sooraj Barjatya's Maine Pyar Kiya, Khan impressed the audience in a wild rockstar-like avatar.
On the other hand, his twin brother Raja, was a simpleton. The director David Dhawan brought out the contrast between the two characters effectively, focusing on how even though related by blood, the two brothers sported polar opposite personalities, owing to the different backgrounds they grew up in.
The poster of Judwaa 2 hints at a similar contrast. While one avatar of Varun sports long hair, rugged jeans and six-pack abs, the other is suited up and sports black framed glasses and a clean shaven look. The body language of the two characters also speak volumes of their personalities.
While the former rests comfortably on the base of the figure '2', the latter just leans on the figure, placing a leg on the figure for support. There is an air of aloofness around him whereas the other oozes boyish charm.
Both the characters are painted in the same tint as the background. Another common aspect between them is the colour black, which dominates their attire. This probably reflects that though they may be like chalk and cheese in terms of their personality, they do share a common ground.
