Judwaa 2 first look: Varun Dhawan plays polar opposites Raja and Prem; trailer out on 21 August
The buzz around Varun Dhawan-starrer Judwaa 2 has been at a high, ever since it was officially declared. Reason being, the first installment, Judwaa (1997) starring Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Rambha was a major box-office success. The songs from the film were huge hits and are still played at various events.
On 16 August, Varun Dhawan released the first poster of the film on Twitter. He posted:

Judwaa 2 poster looks like the film will be a complete entertainer with Dhawan reinventing the iconic twin brothers from the first film — Prem and Raja. Dhawan is seen in two completely contrasting avatars; while one of them dons a nerdy look with a bag and a pair of rimmed spectacles, the other is a hip-hop brat with trendy clothes and a cap.
The film's premise seems to be based around London. The poster also signifies that with the twins coming out of a cab (oops taxi) which is adorned with the British flag skin.
The trailer of the film is slated to release on 21 August. Judwaa 2, as Dhawan pointed out in his tweet, is his father's (David Dhawan) 43rd film. David has been the flag bearer of romantic-comedy movies in the 1990s with a string of successful films with Govinda and Salman Khan. Some of his iconic films include Biwi No 1, Hero No 1, Coolie No 1, Raja Babu and Partner to name a few.
Presented by Fox Star Studios and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Judwaa 2 also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu. It is slated to hit theatres on 29 September.
