It was earlier reported that Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) chief Pahlaj Nihalani had vowed to include the word 'intercourse' in a mini trailer of Imtiaz Ali's romantic comedy Jab Harry Met Sejal if he gets 1 lakh votes from the public in favour of doing so.
Now, news channel Mirror Now managed to achieve that feat following which they approached Nihalani for his comment. Initially, Nihalani kept ignoring the camera and the reporter while waiting for the elevator in his office building.
When the reporter followed him inside the elevator, he warned her not to follow him. But when she persisted, Nihalani just zipped his mouth and turned a deaf ear to the reporter's repeated plea for his comment on the issue.
At one point, Nihalani even flaunted a sly smile when the reporter informed him that the channel managed to get 1 lakh votes in favour of including the word 'intercourse' in the mini trailer.
But he did not comment on the issue till he walked into his cabin.

In an interview to the TV channel, he had said, "You take voting from the public and I will clear the word (intercourse) on the promo and the film also. I want 1 lakh votes and I want to see that India has changed and Indian families want their 12-year-old kids to understand the meaning of this word (intercourse)."
Jab Harry Met Sejal stars Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, Evelyn Sharma and Sayani Gupta. It is produced by Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment and is slated to release on 4 August.
