In Thor: Ragnarok, Chris Hemsworth has shorter hair; here's why it matters
For those Thor fans who could not see the Thor: Ragnarok teaser that was showcased in the San Diego Comic Con 2016, we have our savior, Mark Ruffalo aka 'The Hulk'.
He instagrammed pictures of Chris Hemsworth and himself from the sets. Here are a few posts:

You will notice that Chris 'Thor' Hemsworth is rocking a shorter hairstyle while the vast majority of his appearances have featured his trademark flowing blond locks.
This might be a big cue to the plot of the film, because Thor's goldilocks hairstyle is as much a part of his costume as his iconic hammer, Mjolnir.
In the comicbooks, the story is as it goes: Thor found himself 'unworthy' of wielding his iconic hammer, Mjolnir, and somewhat grudgingly watched as it was instead taken up by his long-time ally, Jane Foster.
And so, the critically acclaimed, fan-beloved and best-selling female Thor was born. Meanwhile, the original Thor just kind of disappeared for a while and returned as the axe-wielding variant known as 'The Unworthy Thor'.
Thor: Ragnarok is now filming and is slated for a November 3, 2017 release.
