While several speculations have been doing rounds that Ajay Devgn's character in Satyagraha has been inspired by Arvind Kejriwal, the AAP leader refused to dwell on them and announced via Twitter that he has seen Prakash Jha's political drama and that he has, in fact, enjoyed it.
Satyagraha, a film about a popular uprising against a corrupt and unjust system, stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Arjun Rampal, Manoj Bajpai and Kareena Kapoor .
While speaking about his role, Devgn had previously said, "My character Manav Raghvendra obviously has so many shades. He thinks like today's youth. He takes the right decisions at the right time but also commits certain mistakes. He is very real and that is the beauty of the character."
The actor, however, added that contrary to reports, his character has no similarity with Arvind Kejriwal.
"There is no similarity with Arvind Kejriwal. When we had the first narration of film, we never had in mind that this is Anna Hazare or this is Kejriwal. Films are reflection of the society. It is not a film on a particular person. It is a fictitious film but whatever we have discussed in it is the truth of the nation today," the actor said.
