'Season 7 fever' of the global TV phenomenon — Game of Thrones — has spread like an epidemic. Just three episodes into the season, fans of the series have already inundated social media with a barrage of theories, speculation and revelations. And after episode 3 — The Queen's Justice — that premiered on 31 July, Twitter went crazy with memes.

Here's a quick precis of what went down in the episode [spoilers ahead]:
1. Jon and Daenerys met — finally!
2. Ser Jorah Mormont was pronounced cured of greyscale.
3. Cersei gave Ellaria Sand a taste of her own medicine.
4. Tyrion got to deliver some fabulous dialogue.
5. Sansa and Bran reunited at Winterfell.
6. The Unsullied took over Casterly Rock — only to find it was an empty victory.
7. ....because Jamie Lannister took over Highgarden and offered Olenna Tyrell poisoned wine as an 'easy' execution. The Queen of Thorns did tell Jaime that she was the one who poisoned Joffrey.

Apart from these developments the episode had several talking points — such as the time Missandei introduced Dany with a string of titles (Daenerys Stormborn, Mother of Dragons, Rightful Heir to the Iron Thrones, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, the Unburnt, the Breaker of Chains etc), and all Ser Davos had to say of Jon was, "And he's Jon Snow". And after a meaningful look from Jon: "King in the North".

Twitter took note:

During that meeting, Dany — who obviously doesn't know about the R+L=J part of Jon's parentage, tells him: "I am the last Targaryen." But Twitter wasn't having any of it:

Twitter also gave Olenna Tyrell a rousing send-off.

So which was better? The episode or the memes?
