Game of Thrones season 7 ep 2 preview: Stormborn explores war strategies, possible reunions
After the premiere of the first episode of the seventh season of the hugely popular show Game of Thrones, fans across the world were left mesmerised. Be it Arya's vengeance, Cersei's strategy, Daenerys' homecoming, Samwell's discovery or many other leads in the story— there was a lot to take in and hence cherish it for a week until the next episode comes. But HBO, the makers of the show, definitely know how to stir up excitement levels of the fans. They released a preview of the second episode - Stormborn - and it definitely makes one sit and gape with wonder.
The 20-second-long preview starts with Jon Snow being told in the North that "A Targaryen cannot be trusted." This is something that hooks you right from the word go. With Jon's Targaryen roots (about which nobody knows, maybe except for Bran), the impact of the sentence increases even more.
Following this is Cersei addressing her knights in King's Landing and saying that the "Mad King's daughter will destroy the realm." This very scene is followed with Yara Greyjoy making strategies in Dragonstone along with Daenerys, Tyrion. Lord Varys, Olenna Tyrell, Theon, Missandei and Grey Worm to wage a war and take down King's Landing.
All this is followed by rapid shots of Arya coming face-to-face with a wolf (Wait, was that her direwolf Nymeria? Let's wait for the second episode to premiere), Ellaria Sand kissing Yara Greyjoy and Littlefinger being cornered and choked. So, in short, there are many loose strings that are yet to be unravelled until 23 July when the second episode premieres.
