Emraan Hashmi who spooked us enough in Raaz Reboot thought it was a good idea to take his passion for horror films a step further by posing as iconic film villains for a cover shoot for the magazine FHM India. He unveiled the cover spread of his shoot on Instagram, with caption, “Had a great time shooting this!”
The magazine's Halloween-themed covershoot with Hashmi has him in character as famous Hollywood villains: The Joker from The Dark Knight, Hannibal Lecter from Silence of the Lambs, Heisenberg from Breaking Bad and Aro the vampire from Twilight.
The Joker scene has Hashmi channel Heath Ledger's Joker but his hair colour seems more similar to Jared Leto's, in Suicide Squad.
For Hannibal Lecter, Hashmi recreated the famous Lecter mask which completely muzzles his mouth and has him wrapped in a straitjacket.
Hashmi also donned Heisenberg's famous yellow jumpsuit, which he wears while making meth.
Joining him in is Elena Fernandes, who made her debut in Karan Johar's Kapoor and Sons and was recently in the news for speaking in favour of Fawad Khan, along with other Pakistani actors being allowed to work in India.
Next Emraan will be seen in Tigers, Badshaho and Captain Nawab.
Tigers is based on a real-life story of a salesman working the pharmaceutical industry in Pakistan; Baadshaho is an action thriller also starring Ajay Devgn, Esha Gupta and Captain Nawab is an upcoming action film, which also marks Emraan Hashmi’s debut production under his home banner.
