Don't hype a one hour show, says Kumari on SJ
While everyone is speculating about which social issue Aamir Khan will present in his next show, the superstar was still campaigning for female foeticide in Rajasthan yesterday .
While Ranjana Kumari, Director of Centre for Social Research, who is been working against female feticide for several years welcomed celebrity involvement she questioned the effect it would have."Its a happy news Aamir Khan is working for the issue," said Kumari on CNN-IBN on Rajdeep Sardesai's show.
"But this is a serious issue, its not a one time emotive entertainment show...I don't think one meeting with CM is going to help," Kumari said.
When Sardesai asked Kumari why one should criticise Aamir Khan for using his stardom to raise social issues,"One and a half hour of show is not going to bring any social change," she replied.
