Brahmastra: Has Karan Johar roped in K3G child star Jibraan Khan as AD for Ayan's film?
Remember the small kid named Krish from Karan Johar's 2001 film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham? Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan) and Anjali's (Kajol) son from the film won our hearts with his innocent performance in the film.
Now, nearly 17 years later, Jibraan is all set to collaborate with Johar — not in front of camera but behind it. It is being speculated that Khan has been roped in by the K3G helmer as the chief assistant director in Ayan Mukherji's upcoming magnum opus Brahmastra, reports DNA. He has reportedly already started working on the project.
Brahmastra is Mukerji's upcoming film, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in leading roles. It is touted to be the Wake Up Sid director's biggest and the most important film so far.
Mukerji told IANS, "It's the biggest project of my life. All my hopes are pinned on this film. I hope it becomes the biggest success. It is set in India as it exists today but the name of the film is called Brahmastra because the energy, wisdom and powers in the film come from ancient India."
Brahmastra is a fantasy adventure film, the first part of a trilogy and it will hit the screens on 15 August, 2019. Karan Johar's Dharma Productions will collaborate with Fox Star Studios and Namit Malhotra, CEO of Prime Focus for the film.
