Bigg Boss Tamil: Lawyer files complaint against Kamal Haasan after Oviya's 'suicide attempt'

A lawyer has filed a complaint against the makers of Bigg Boss Tamil and the show host, Kamal Haasan, for allegedly driving  Oviya, a contestant , to attempt suicide. According to Indian Express, SS Balaji has stated in his complaint that the actress has suffered emotionally, due to the rules and regulations of the house. File image.[/caption] The lawyer has sought action against Haasan and the makers of the show for abetment to suicide and conspiracy to injure. As per the Indian Express report, the complainant stated that the tasks that each contestant is supposed to partake in inflicted immense mental pain on Oviya, due to which she tried to commit suicide by “immersing herself in to the pool” inside the house. After she was rescued, Oviya told the makers of the show that she was not in a position to continue her stint in the show due to emotional stress. She even stated that she required professional help to overcome the disturbing situations that she had been exposed to in the last few days. Oviya is a model and actress who has become a sensation among the public due to her bold and carefree attitude on Bigg Boss. She has a huge fan following who like to call themselves ‘Oviya Army’. It is not confirmed whether Oviya will be back on the show, as she was spotted leaving the premises in a car.
