Bigg Boss 11, Episode 20, Weekend Ka Vaar: Hina Khan fights with both Arshi and Benafsha
Salman Khan returns with yet another Weekend Ka Vaar of Bigg Boss 11. The episode kickstarts with Salman in the adjacent house where he is busy packing some Diwali gifts for the housemates. He plans to give a pacifier to Akash Dadlani, a megaphone to Hiten, helmet to Vikas and a hair clip to Arshi.
As he prepares to meet the contestants, he informs that there was a task that was given to them wherein they had to rank themselves on the basis of the audience reaction. While Luv is ranked at #10, Akash is at #1 position. Hina and Arshi are not placed anywhere, and this leads to a fight amongst the housemates. Then ultimately, Hina is placed at #2, while Shilpa is at #1.
Soon after, Salman makes an entry and talks about this Diwali being the most peaceful and pollution free Diwali ever. He begins by taking names of contestants who remind him of different festivals. Arshi reminds him of ‘Naag Panchami’, Hina - ‘Dahi Handi’, Shilpa – Holi and Akash reminds him of Easter.
Salman is surprised that Sabyasachi is placed at #4 even though he has not been visible all this week. When Hina justifies his positioning by saying that Sabyasachi is a big time entertainer, a good mimic, and that he also cooks delicious food for all, Salman slams it by saying that it was the viewers who have to find the contestants entertaining and not the co-contestants. Salman, further, explained the reason that why Vikas is still inside the house even though he attacked Puneesh while Priyank was thrown out for doing the same. He said that Priyank got involved in someone else’s fight, while Vikas reacted in his own fight. Salman also reprimands Akash for wasting food during the task and reminds him of breaking four eggs. The host appears quite irritated with Akash's attitude and also tells him to stop claiming that he is related to music composer, Vishal Dadlani, who has clearly said that he is not related to him.
When Akash continues to laugh, Salman almost loses his cool as he says that he could do what previous hosts like Arshad Warsi, Shilpa Shetty and Amitabh Bachchan did. He could just come, ask a few questions and then leave, but he feels that he is the host, and it is his job to make the contestants understand.
Salman praises Hiten saying that he is the balancing factor inside the house. He tells him that even though some people might find him boring, but the way he is projecting himself is good and could be of use to other contestants little later. Salman does some reshuffling and gets Luv, Sabyasachi, Mehjabi and Benafsha out of top 10. He asks the contestants that out of these four, who is the least entertaining person. Almost everybody picks up Luv, except Arshi (who picks Mehjabee) and hence Luv is asked to sit on the mechanical bull this week.
It may be recalled that Salman had called Zubair, a “kutta” and “nalla” when the latter had misbehaved with his co-contestants, and these are the two words that the housemates have been using with each other quite often. Salman tells them to stop using these words inside the house with immediate effect as they are making him feel guilty. Salman thinks that just because he said those words, the housemates don’t have to use it as he said it in a completely different context then.
Soon the atmosphere inside the house lightens when the caller of the week tells Hiten that people were enjoying Arshi flirting with Hiten. Salman takes the opportunity and pulls Hiten’s leg saying, it wasn’t looking bad and that it should continue.
Salman once again calls Hina and Arshi to compete with each other in a wrestling match but instead the two girls vent out all their frustration towards each other. Before the match begins they get into a verbal duel and further Arshi gets too violent with Hina. Salman decides to stop the task midway and no winner is announced as he tells them that the spirit in which they both were playing was wrong.
Their heated arguments continue when they return from the activity area to the washroom area. While Hina makes fun of Arshi saying that she admitted of being at fault in front of Salman, Arshi says, that was just her strategy. Arshi further tells with pride to Hina that she managed to beat her up left, right and centre in the akhada. And when things calm down between them, another misunderstanding erupts between Benafsha and Hina. Benafsha comes and apologises to Hina for not stopping Arshi from beating her, which she could have done by blowing whistle, but Hina is in no mood to listen to Benafsha. Even Shilpa tries to convince Hina to forgive Benafsha, but she doesn’t, and the latter breaks down.
