Filmmaker Sabbir Khan is gearing up for the release of his next, a musical drama titled Munna Michael, which is slated to release on 21 July. The film is in news for the aggressive promotions that its lead stars, Tiger Shroff and newcomer Nidhi Aggerwal, are doing, along with Nawazuddin Siddiqui's quirky look.
Now, Pinkvilla reports that Khan is already planning his next film which will be a thriller and remake of Mohan Raja's popular 2015 Tamil film Thani Oruvan. The original film starred Jayam Ravi and Arvind Swamy. Khan has approached Arjun Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra to reprise the roles in the Hindi remake.
DNAreports that after collaborating with Shroff in Heropanti, Baaghi and Munna Michael, Khan is looking forward to working with other actors. Also, the two roles in his next demand older actors than what Shroff could play on the screen.
Sidharth was lauded for his buddy chemistry with Varun Dhawan in their first film, Karan Johar's 2012 romantic comedy Student of the Year, and Arjun was appreciated for his rapport with Ranveer Singh in Ali Abbas Zafar's 2014 period thriller Gunday. Now, if the two young actors green light the project, they might turn out to be the newest buddy pair in the block.
