Dhawan confirmed the news and said that "there will be fireworks" since he and Anushka are collaborating for the first time. Anushka revealed that the film is a unique story about self-reliance and will resonate with every Indian at a much deeper level.

Maneesh also dropped a few hints about the film, stating that the film will depict "the passion that runs through the veins of every single Indian."

The film is expected to go on the floors in January 2018 and will be released around Gandhi Jayanti. Considering it is hitting theaters around an event of immense national importance, it might be coloured with a strong patriotic sentiment.

The lead actors took to twitter to introduce the film in a quirky manner — solving riddles that were linked to the title of their film.
