Akshay Kumar to have a 'different voice' in 2.0; actor says details being worked on by director Shankar
Director Shankar's magnum opus 2.0 is becoming a bigger deal as the days go by. The latest update on the much awaited movie is that Akshay Kumar — who plays the antagonist in the film — will have a different voice in the movie, along with having a different avatar. 2.0 is currently in the post-production stage
"We are working on it. After struggling for weeks, Shankar and I have discovered a method. We are not fully satisfied with the voice quality yet. In a while, we will get the perfect voice and pitch for Akshay," said Resul Pookutty, according to an India Today report.
Later this month, the 2.0 team will host a grand audio launch at the Burj Park in Dubai. The makers have reportedly spent Rs 12 crore to host the lavish event.
Academy Award winner AR Rahman is expected to croon live at the audio launch apart from a host of other exciting performances and stage shows. 2.0 is said to be the costliest Asian movie to ever get made, with a budget of a whopping Rs 400 crore. The movie stars Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain alongside Kumar and Rajinikanth. The movie is expected to release in 8000-9000 screens across India.
